The south-east of Kazakhstan is one of the most diverse regions in the entire world, from the breathtaking snow-capped 7000-meter peaks of the Tien Shan range (the last foothills of the Himalayas) to the singing dunes of Altyn Emel National Park and Charyn Canyon in the national park of the same name. On this tour we will get to know the capital Almaty and then make our way to the base camp of Khan Tengri. This 7010m high mountain marks the border between Kazakhstan, China and Kyrgyzstan. Weather permitting, we will fly over this fascinating region characterized by eternal ice by helicopter. We continue to the Bayankol Gorge, the singing dunes, the Charyn Canyon with a 4-day detour through Kyrgyzstan on the shores of the second largest mountain lake in the world, the Yssykköl, which is nestled at over 1600 m in the heart of the Tien Shan mountain range and is 20 times the size of Lake Garda. Endless expanses and color facets, yurts, wild horses in the steppe as far as the eye can see, emerald green mountain lakes and one of the friendliest peoples in the world will make this one of the most unforgettable trips of your life.
