The bike tour to Schwaz's local mountain offers sweeping views over the Inn Valley.

The efforts of the mountain bike tour are rewarded with unique views of the surrounding mountain scenery and the Inn Valley below. The Inn River reflects the summer sun with a silvery sheen and separates the southern part of the Karwendel Mountains from the Tux Alps. Once you reach the top – at the Hecherhaus – Tyrolean specialties, hearty snacks, and Kaiserschmarrn await you – well deserved after climbing almost 600 meters.

  • Start at the Kellerjochbahn valley station (the first section is identical to MTB route 4004).
  • Initially, ride gently downhill towards Schwaz
  • After approx. 300 m, ride uphill again towards Hecherhaus
  • Ride through the forests of Schwaz's local mountain
  • Keep left at the fork in the road, without taking any further turns
  • Destination: Hecherhaus

  • By car: Take the A12 Inntal motorway, exit Schwaz, road to Pillberg to Kellerjochbahn station

    You can take the Bergbus 8 to the bus stop Pillberg Kellerjochbahn/Grafenast
    By train, you can get off at Schwaz station.
