The Silberregion Karwendel is known for its down to earth cuisine with many fresh local products. Here comes the well-known Loas Schnitzel, the award-winning cheese from the Eng or the Maibutter vom Bucherwirt on the plate. High up on the Pillberg you will find the highest winery in Tyrol - the Paprikawinery. The basis for the delicious drops are local fruits, harvested around the silver region Karwendel. When the short time of the Migala starts, the Schwazer run hot. Some actually hoard the traditional pastry and the recipe is top secret. The Migala is only available for the All Souls' Day.
