Schutzhütte Falkenhütte

The Falkenhütte is a publicly accessible, managed hut (Category I) of the Oberland section.

Spectacularly located in front of the Laliderer Walls, traditionally wood-paneled, equipped with a cozy parlor – the Falkenhütte in the Karwendel has everything a dream mountain hut needs.

The Falkenhütte, extensively renovated between 2017 and 2020, will make the hearts of all mountain enthusiasts soar. Whether by mountain bike or on foot, as a day destination or an overnight stay. A visit to the hut in the midst of the Karwendel Nature Park is always worthwhile. The host family Rackwitz-Hartmann treats guests to Tyrolean cuisine on the sun terrace.

The Falkenhütte is a base for the 4-day "Karwendel Tour." Children can find an undisturbed nature and adventure playground around the hut.
