To the curious hiker the incomparable nature of the Silver Region shows itself in every season in a new guise: In spring whole gentian carpets color the meadows in the Karwendel in a sea of blue. The alpine rose blossom in summer conjures up a fairy-tale grove for us and bathes impressive mountain slopes in crimson. Sycamores and beech trees ennoble the autumnal valleys with pure gold and copper, and in winter the silence returns with the white winter splendor that lays quietly on mountain and valley.
