Tiroler Schneegaudi

From 19 to 21 January 2024, the Weerberg will be transformed into the Mecca of alternative winter sports. The Tiroler Schneegaudi invites locals and guests to an unforgettable winter experience characterized by gentle tourism, sporting challenges and sociable togetherness.

The program includes a wide range of disciplines that lie far off the beaten track of alpine skiing. Ski mountaineering, snowshoeing, winter hiking and tobogganing are the activities that participants can try out during the three-day event. The focus is on environmentally friendly and respectful interaction with nature.

The "Tiroler Schneegaudi" starts with a special highlight: a benefit run for the benefit of Kinderhilfe im Bezirk Schwaz. Under the motto "weerBERGauf" enthusiastic ski mountaineers open the weekend on Friday evening and set a strong sign of solidarity. From Weerberg village to the valley station at the Hüttegglift, the athletes are looking forward to numerous friends, fans and supporters who will give them motivation by cheering them on.

Since 02. November the registration is possible on the TIME2WIN event page. The principle "first come first serve" applies, so secure your starting place today!

The expo of the event presents exhibitors from all the sports mentioned. Hourly taster tours allow participants to get a taste of the various disciplines and gain their first experience. In the cozy atmosphere of "Das Hüttegg", guests can fortify themselves with culinary delicacies and look forward to musical highlights. Top DJs provide the best entertainment and good mood.

A training camp to touch promises the national team of ski mountaineers from Germany and the regional squad from Bavaria, which will take place during the days in the Silver Region Karwendel. Interested parties can experience first-hand how professionals train to achieve their goal of competing in the 2026 Olympic Games in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The "Tiroler Schneegaudi" 2024 thus promises not only sporting challenges, but also social get-togethers, culinary delights and the opportunity to let off steam in the midst of an enchanting winter landscape. The event stands for a unique combination of sport, nature experience and sense of community and is aimed at all those who want to experience the winter magic away from the crowded slopes in large-scale ski resorts.

Workshop on ski mountaineering
for children & teens

On Saturday and Sunday, a workshop on ski mountaineering will be offered for children and teenagers to introduce them to this fascinating sport in a playful way.

This workshop lasts two hours each and takes place both in the morning and in the afternoon on both days. The workshop is divided by age groups (8-10 years and 11-14 years) to ensure that everyone receives the best possible supervision.

Our experienced ski instructors are highly qualified and have excellent pedagogical experience. As a result, children and teenagers can immerse themselves in the world of ski mountaineering in a safe and fun way.

The necessary material for the workshop is kindly provided by the BfB free of charge. As places and material are limited, we recommend registering early.

  • For the handing out of material, the children and teenagers must be on site half an hour before the workshop starts!

Registration

The registration is done by e-mail to our team at the Tourismusverband Silberregion Karwendel. If you have any questions, please also contact us by phone.

Please let us know the height and shoe size of the child/youth when registering.
